~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's March and it's sunny here... a nice change for once. Let's hope Spring isn't too far away.

For today, I've got Xmassy stuff on display. I managed to reach my card quota for February so am quite chuffed with that. Here's one done with the Kissmass & Mistletoe set. (still awaiting my arrival of the new sets)

Patterned paper by Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses.

Last Xmas, I made little gift boxes to give away.

I placed a snow stencil on the box template, sprayed with cosmic shimmer then randomly stamped the snowman and snowflakes from the Kissmas & Mistletoe range.

Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead.

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Gosh, another week has passed. It's back to work, school runs and routines again after a good week of break. It's always hard to do any crafting when the boys are around as I like to spend time with them. However, I managed to squeeze in a couple of cards.

I've been working on my Xmas cards as I've got a quota to do every month. As usual, I made use of Kissmas & Mistletoe set. The cards were created based on challenges during the {ippity} release party. Here's my first one:

This card was created based on a challenge to use purple. I always find that colour a tad difficult to work with but I've chosen lavender which made it easier. The 3 heart images came from 'Life's Little Moments' set.

The inside of the card.

My second one is based on another challenge to create a background pattern using stamps. I made use of  Life's Little Moments for this.

The number image is one of my fav background stamp. I luv using lace too.

Here's the inside of the card.

I'm slowly reaching my quota of Xmas card for this month. I've only got 2 more to do. Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead.

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Yay, it's Monday and the start of half term break too! Bliss! Time to do some h{ippity} hopping as well. For today, I created a canvas as a birthday gift for my brother-in-law. I used 'Because of You' stamp set.

Here's my canvas:

Stamped the 'love' background stamp on a piece of tissue paper and adhered to the canvas, which had already been sprayed with glimmer mist. Used a Heidi Swapp butterfly mask to create the outline and added a coupld of Cuttlebug butterfly diecuts to them.

I also created a card for my son's birthday. I combined two stamp sets from 'Life's Little Moments' and 'Just Wanted To Say'.

Here's my card:

The number '7' has been highlighted although it's not so clear in the photo. (Card based on a sketch at 365 Cards).

The Winter 2010 {ippity} release is now available for sale. Some gorgeous images there! Thanks for dropping by and have a great week.

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's Monday and thankfully it's the last week of the term too! It's also time to h{ippity} hop as well. This week, I played with Life's Little Moments:

I created 2 LOs to give to my parents. They are 4x6 and fits into an Ikea flipover frame (which I know my parent has). My dad is always asking for photos of his only grandsons! No doubt it is much easier to send them via email but nothing like scrapping them to give it a slightly more personal touch!

Both mini LOs created using Scarlet Lime Jan kit.

I've also created a card based on an {ippity} challenge which is to make a birthday card. I used stamp sets from Devoted, Just Wanted to say and Because of You.

Here's my card:

Patterned paper by Basic Grey Sugar Rush and KI Memories Flourish collections.

And the inside:

Thanks for dropping by and hope you have a great week ahead! Don't forget to check out the rest of the blogs for some fabulous inspiration!

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Welcome to another round of H{ippity} Hop. For today, I'm showcasing a mini LO (4x6) that fits into an Ikea flip-over picture frame. I do these mini LOs whenever I have new photos and slot into those frames. Any old ones then go into a 4x6 album which is easily available in stores. These are fun to do and very fast to accomplish unlike the traditional 12x12 LO that takes me a good 2 hrs or more to finish sometimes.

I made use of Life's Little Moments stamp set. One of my fav stamp set as they are so well suited for scrapbooking.

Here's  my mini LO:

I used Scarlet Lime's December 09 kit. I've a knack of buying kits and not using them so my resolution this year is to use up previous kits before getting new stash (stamps exempted)! Luv this particular photo of us (we seldom get a chance to take a family photo) where we were on a fishing trip in Indonesia last summer. Sheer bliss! The quote was stamped on transparency and the back coloured in white ink to make it stand out.

My next project is a card created for a {ippity} challenge which ask to use black, neutral and another colour on the card. I chose kraft & red and use Kissmas & Mistletoe set.

My card:

 I'm starting my Xmas card early this year with a hope that I will eventually amass enough for Xmas this year! Let's see! Background embossed using Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.

Thanks for dropping by! Have a great week ahead!

>>> H{ippity} Hop! <<<

It's Monday and it's time to H{ippity} hop through the blogs of {ippity} fans. Luv looking thru' the blogs to get inspiration. Got my hands full today as my boys are off school due to school closure (heating problems).

Here's a Valentine's card I created for {ippity} challenge which asks to add glitz on the card:

Patterned paper from MME's Adore collection. Stamp set from Because of You and Devoted sets.

Here's the inside of the card:

Lately, I've started stamping far more on the inside of the card too.

I'm also starting my Xmas cards early so here's another card:

Patterned paper by Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses. Stamp set is from Kissmas & Mistletoe. This card was also created for a sketch challenge on 365 Cards.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!

>>> On Display: Kissmas & Mistletoe <<<

I know that Christmas is over but not the preparations, namely Christmas cards! It's highly impossible to churn out a massive amount in a short period of time and especially at the most busiest time of the year. Hence this year, I decided to do them early and also calculated how much I need (quite a lot actually). I will need to churn out 8 Xmas cards a month in order to meet my target at the end of the year.

Not surprising, I turned to my all time favourite Xmas set from {ippity}, Kissmas & Mistletoe set. This set has the most adorable and usable images.

Here are a couple of cards that I created:

This card was created using Mojo Monday sketch. Patterned paper by Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses. The mistletoe was enhanced using red Liquid Pearls.

Here's the inside of the card:

Kinda like how the stamping turned out inside too.

Now for card #2.

This card was created based on a sketch by Card Patterns. Same brand of patterned paper as above. The snowman was inked and lined with a fine black liner.

6 more cards to make before the end of this month! I'm determined this year all my Xmas cards will be handmade!

>>> H{ippity} Hop! <<<

Been busy the weekend creating and why not since the weather was too cold to go out. Neither the boys nor I seem inclined to wanna go out at all and we spent Sunday in our jammies. Bliss!

Here's a LO created using Life's Little Moments set. Can't tell you how much I've used this set for my pages.

I did this LO as part of my DT assignment for BackPorch Memories, using Sassafras Amplify papers. Misted the background using glimmer mist and cosmic shimmer and did a tone on tone stamping using the snowflake stamp from Kissmas & Mistletoe (which can't be seen in the photo). Used the journaling block for my title.

The next project is a card, also created using BPM kit. I used patterned papers from Bella Blvd, Honey I'm Home collection.

I used a background stamp to decorate the chipboard house from Scenic Route. Punched out a fence using my Martha Stewart punch and stamped another background stamp on it. The chipboard house was coloured using Copics.

Finally, my last project is another card. I created this one based on the H{ippity} Hip challenge that was issued last week, which was to use buttons on the card. Here's mine:

Patterned paper from Imaginisce. I made use of the Simply Home set. Have not really played with this set. The stamped house image was coloured using Promarkers. I luv using ribbons and trimming and I'm such a serious hoarder of them. So dug thru' my stash to find this particular one that was suitable for this card. I believe the buttons are from Making Memories (a very long time ago...)

Is it coincidental that my cards so far focus on homes? I just realised that the last few cards I created were related to homes. But then again, I don't have any of them in my collection so just as well I made some for 'in case' use.

Thanks for dropping by. If you have left comments, thanks so much. I appreciate them and enjoy reading  them. Have a great day!

Happy New Year to all {ippity} fans!

I created this card based on the {ippity} challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was to 'resolve' to try something new. Well, I've been seeing a lot of easel cards around and decided to have a go at it myself. Found the instructions on the net and it was really simple to create it. Here's my card:

Patterned papers and diecuts came from My Mind's Eye Kiss & Tell collection.

Thanks for dropping by and have a good day!

>>> On Display: Because Of You <<<

Here's a card I created using the 'love' background image from 'Because Of You' set. Have to say, it's my fav set at the moment.

Patterned paper by Crate Paper Fall collection. Hot air balloon and sentiment from Unity's Dec KOTM set.

This card was also created for 365 Cards and it was based on a sketch challenge.

>>> On Display: Kissmas & Mistletoe <<<

This is my all time favourite Xmas stamp. I can still see myself using it way after Xmas is over. It literally contains all images relating to snow, Xmas, winter themes! I used them in a LO as seen here:

I've used a tone-on-tone stamping for the snowflakes. Made use of the trees as embellishments and added a mistletoe to finished it off. Patterned papers are from Lilibee Vintage Poppy collection.

Created a card using Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection. Absolutely adore the mistletoe image.

Update on the stamp sets:
Just Wanted To Say, Straight From The Heart & Life's Little Moments are out of stock at the moment. I will be ordering more next month so if you're interested, email me to reserve a set. The rest are still available for immediately delivery.

>>> It's Here! <<<

Went to collect my parcel of {ippity} stamps from the Post Office today! A boxful of goodies! Will sort them out the weekend as I'm in the midst of teachers' gifts and Xmas cards!

Anyway, I leave with this card using Mistletoe and Kissmas. Simply adore that set!
