~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's been a while since I did the hop but life do get into the way sometimes! Anyway, I created this easel card for a friend's birthday today.

Here's the front of the card. Patterned papers by Basic Grey Eva. I made use of Music of my Heart stamp  set, one of my favs. The birdie has been sprinkled with sticklers.

The card when opened. The sentiment and journaling box came from Just Wanted to Say set.

Here's the inside of the card. I stamped the hanging hearts from Moon Beam & Heart Strings set.

Thanks for dropping by and have a good week ahead. I'm hosting Growing in Unity this week so do check out here if you fancy winning a stamp set of your choice.

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Time for another hop with the {ippity} gang! I created a spiral pop-up card using {ippity} Music of my Heart and Just Wanted To Say.

My large butterfly came from a butterfly die.

Now that is actually brown in colour, although it does look purplish! I used a journaling block from Just Wanted To Say and added the sentiment. Instructions from the inside of the card can be found on the SCS resource site.

I stamped the musical notes from Music From My Heart set at the back of the spiral.

Quite a fun card to make. Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead!

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Two weeks ago, I was blogging how delighted I was at the start of a 2 week Easter break. Today, it's the last day before I go back to work and the boys go back to school. Gosh, time sure went past pretty quickly. Shame that all good things have to come to an end! The only thing with breaks is that it does impact on my scrapping time as I do spend more time with the boys and less in my craft room.

Played for the first time with an {ippity} stamp set and create a card:

Patterned paper is by Basic Grey Kioshi collection. Added a homemade rosebud in the middle of the flower.

Now that routine is about to get back to normal, hopefully will have more time to play. Until then, have a great week ahead.

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's a bank holiday here in the UK and the start of an Easter break for me. Gosh, it does feel good not to have to get up early. Thankfully my boys aren't early risers either!

Recently my boys played in a violin concert and I was fortunate to be able to capture that moment and turned it into a LO:

This 4x6" LO was created using a Scarlet Lime Feb10 kit. I made use of {ippity} Music Of My Heart set as it fitted the theme perfectly.

My next project is a tag using Fishy Philosophy.

I sponged the background using distressed inks.  After stamping the 'tree', I coloured in using a glittery pen to make it shine.

Thanks for dropping by. Hope you had a great Easter and have a good week ahead!

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

Gosh, I'm so glad that last week ended as it was a very hectic week that left me thoroughly knackered. I tried to do a 12x12 LO but just couldn't and instead settled for a 4x6! My boys had to attend 3 violin concerts in a row, starting from Thursday and I was involved in a car boot event on Sat morning (PTA stuff). But the icing was attending a craft fair on Sunday, all on my own, and getting some new stash! Bliss!

Anyway, enough rambling.... earlier last week, did a canvas as a birthday gift for my SIL. I made use of 'What Matters Most' stamp set as well as 'Love In Return'.

Took inspiration from the photo and that's how the tree came about. The stamped image was coloured using Copic markers. Patterned paper by MME's Bloom and Grow, punched using MS border punch (I've got a serious addiction to them). Photo was taken, kindly by a stranger, in Paris Disneyland, way back in Oct 2008. Gosh, does it seem that long that we were there?

The side of the canvas was stamped using a border stamp from 'Sweet Thoughts Of Spring', and coloured in using Copic marker.

This is the last week of the school term before the boys break up for Easter for 2 weeks. Looking forward to that! That will leave me some time to play with my new stash and stamps from Unity! Thanks for dropping by and wishing you a Happy Easter!

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's Monday again and time to do a bit of hopping. I always luv looking at the inspiration provided by the {ippity} gals and see how one particular stamp can be used in so many different ways.

I played with 2 stamp sets and created this LO. I made use of Moon Beams & Heart Strings as well as Life's Little Moments. Moon Beams & Heart Strings is fast becoming a fav of mine. Funnily though, I didn't think much of it when I first saw it but I'm reaching out for that set more often these days.

Patterned papers by Jillibean, a set that I got from a previous Unity scrapbooking kit. Sprayed the  background with Glimmer Mists using a Heidi Swapp butterfly stencil.

Added some pearls onto the butterflies.

The stars and moon was gently outlined with a Copic marker.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a great week ahead. It's gonna be a busy one for me, all the way to the weekend!

~ H{ippity} Hop! ~

It's Monday, the start of a new week and welcome to another H{ippity} Hop. I managed to sort out my new {ippity} stamps so that they are easy to find and use! I lose no time in playing with a couple of sets. I created this LO based on a sketch here. Always the sketch rebel, I had to put my own twist to it by rotating it to suit my photo. I made use of 2 stamp sets, Moon Beams & Heart Strings and Love In Return.

LO was created using Scarlet Lime Feb10 kit.

The next offering is a quick tag I created. I made use of What Matters Most stamp set.

The background was created simply by placing the tag over a stencil covered with glimmer mist.

Well, it's now mid-month and I guess I had better start working on my Xmas card quota. I'm doing quite well with keeping up. Thanx for dropping by and have a great week ahead.
